100 Advanced English Words
100 Advanced English Words |
Often, educators use words with meanings that students may not fully understand. Instead of looking up the gibberish and asking for an explanation, students may go through years of study and not really understand the meaning of important terms.
After consulting with my former English teacher, my sister, Leslie Hamilton, and my future English teacher, my daughter, Terra Rothblitz, we came up with a list of 100 words that teachers often mumble but students don’t necessarily understand. Rather than list the definitions here, I thought it might be better to just include the link so you can test yourself. Check out the following terms and see how well you do. To see the definitions, simply click on the word.
